Sharing Access
Access Sharing
You can share your smart lock access with your family members, friends, or service workers. There are 3 main ways to share access, Family, Guests, and App-less Guest Keys.
1. Enter Aegis Home Page
On the Bosma App homepage, tap on your Aegis to enter Aegis’s home page.
Note: Please make sure that you have already set up Aegis on your account.
2. Enter Aegis Settings
Tap the Gear 
icon at the top right corner to enter Aegis settings.
Note: Please make sure that [1] your Aegis has been calibrated (i.e. you can see open/closed & locked/unlocked status on this page) and [2] calibration status is correct (i.e. the app shows “Closed” when the door is indeed closed”). You can refer to this video tutorial on how to calibrate Aegis.
3.1 Share With Family Members
Tap “Family Members”, and add your family member. If your Aegis is not added a family, please follow the instructions to create a family first.
Note: Family members can modify all lock settings. Therefore, please share Family access only with people you trust.
Note: Family members can also use Auto Unlock, and can lock or unlock via Bluetooth (without internet access).
3.2 Share With Guests
Tap “Guests” and add your guests.
Note: Guests may only lock or unlock. They are not able to modify any lock settings.
Note: Guests must log in to the Bosma app with the email address you entered.
Note: Both the guest’s phone and Aegis must have internet access. To set up internet access for Aegis, refer to Remote Access.
3.3 Share With Guests Without App
Tap “App-less Guest Keys” and create a new Access Code. Share the access link and code with your guest.
Note: Guests may only lock or unlock within the specified date range. They are not able to modify any lock settings.
Note: Guests can visit the web link and enter the Access Code to lock or unlock. They do not have to download the Bosma app.
Note: Both the guest’s phone and Aegis must have internet access. To set up internet access for Aegis, refer to Remote Access.
